A BRIEF BIOGRAPHY

Effervescent, adorably cute and with a magnetic charm and charisma, pint sized British singer songwriter musician Sammie Jay, can blow a tune with so much soul you could be mistaken for thinking she came from the deep south. With hair-raising vocals malleable enough to encompass several genres of music,  there is nothing tiny about this little lady's musical abilities, and when her petite frame takes to the stage hold onto your hats cause you're in for a ride.

Making her London West End debut, playing 'little Cosette' at the tender age of 7yrs, in the hit musical Les Miserables at the Palace theatre, Shaftsbury Avenue. In Sammie Jay's own words "I do what I do because I love it with a passion. I could never grow tired of the process of creating music and writing songs. It is awesome that I get to connect and touch the hearts of so many people through my music. Be it singing to a small bunch of people or if I am in a huge Arena in front of thousands I just live and breath the melody and lyrics of a good song. I have been inspired by many wonderful artists such as Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston & Stevie Wonder. and if I am not at my keyboard writing a new song, or strumming on my guitar and performing. Then I am probably hitting the dance floor somewhere instead, because music is in my bones!"

Sammie Jay is currently finishing up work on her latest songs for her newest album. It had always been a dream of hers to record her own songs with amazing musicians at Abbey Road Studios, in London.  She finally made her dreams come true, and is now bursting with excitement to get all the finishing touches done, so she will be able to share this new set of songs which she has poured all her heart and soul into.
